Who We Are

Tiadaghton Chapter is dedicated to the preservation, maintenance, and restoration of our areas watersheds. As a voluntary, grassroots organization, we strive to leave a positive impact on the community through activities and projects highlighting cold water conservancy and fly fishing.

The Chapter was established in 2005. It is one of 387 chapters in 36 Councils chartered byTrout Unlimited.

As of January, 2021 we have 207 members

Golden Trout Award

Tiadaghton Chapter #688 has been awarded the Golden Trout Award
recognizing an individual chapter for innovation and thoughtful approaches for advancing the cold water conservancy mission of Trout Unlimited.

Some say we are a conservation organization with a fly fishing problem.

There is truth in that. In order to have rewarding fly fishing, a healthy trout habitat is mandatory. Conservation and fly fishing are inseparable.

There are several tools that the Chapter uses to accomplish our mission; education, fundraising, hands-on habitat maintenance/improvement, and providing a forum for cold water conservancy. We also partner with national, state, regional, and community organizations with similar goals.
