The Tiadaghton Chapter of Trout Unlimited is holding a raffle to support Potter County Anglers Club stocking trout in the Pine Creek Keystone Select DHALO at Darling Run. Since raising trout isn’t cheap and this isn’t Potter County, we need your help
The PFBC has not done a fall stocking at Darling Run for many years based on angler surveys showing not enough use by fishermen to warrant fall stocking. Let’s prove them wrong! We all know that the trout move out of this Special Regs section of Pine Creek during the hot, low conditions during the summer. A fall stocking can help replenish the trout population and possibly some holdover trout for the following spring. The plan is to stock the Darling Run section Monday, October 10, 2022. Tickets are one per $20 donation and are available at The Tackle Shack, November,1st and December, 6th Chapter meetings at Wellsboro Comunity Center, 3 Queen St. Wellsboro and by clicking the DONATE button below. All proceeds go to support the stocking effort.
A rising river floats all boats and if you win it is a win/win, with trout in Pine this fall and winter and maybe some holdovers. Drawing will be at the Chapter meeting December, 6th. Winner does not need be present to win.
